New Cruise Ships Sailing In 2017:

The Norwegian Joy

The second ship in Norwegian's Breakaway Plus Class will be making its debut in the summer of 2017. It will be able to house 3900 passengers and it is designed for the Chinese market. It will only sail around China with a homeport in Shanghai and Beijing.

Some of the outstanding features that have already been announced include: a competitive racetrack on the top deck, an open-air laser tag course, the Galaxy Pavilion where games and virtual reality are central and two multi-story waterslides.

On top of this there will be 29 restaurants of which there are restaurants with Chinese cuisine, Korean cuisine, Japanese cuisine, western cuisine, Italian cuisine and finally French cuisine. There will be something for anyone to enjoy, that’s for sure. If you are planning to go on a holiday through china, then this could be the ship of your choice.

The MSC Meraviglia

This new ship will be able to house up to 5700 passengers, which will then become the biggest ship floating when it comes to passenger capacity. And this is not even the most revolutionizing part of the ship, it will also work with high tech wristband technology. Through their wristbands the passengers will be able to pay, book spa treatments, book speciality restaurants and find their children through GPS. There will be 12 restaurants located on the ship, with Mediterranean, American and Japanese cuisine. When it comes to entertainment this ship won’t bore you, that’s for sure. With Cirque, du Soleil performing twice a night six times a week everyone will be entertained. And for the children there is a double-deck indoor amusement park.

There is enough room for swimming with three pools and a huge outdoor waterpark. The ship will start sailing around the western Mediterranean with its homeports being Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.

Majestic Princess

Norwegian cruises isn’t the only releasing a China based ship, this one will as well be sailing China all way around. It will be launching in the summer of 2017 and will be the first Princess ship to be specified for the Chinese market. The specifications of this 3,600-passenger ship have not been released just yet, but it will have a lot in common with its sisters the Regal Princess and the Royal Princess. So, this is ship is promising when you want to take a visit to China
